The Aware! book is a comprehensive travel documentary written by Sensi.
He describes his own experiences and those of singer-songwriter Atreya in Nepal and North-India. In October 2000 these two young Europeans travelled together to Asia and came into contact with, for them, so very different cultures. Very soon they were touched by the warm feelings of the Tibetan refugees, who live there in exile. While in the West there is often only interest in industrial and economic advancement, the Tibetans have over the last 2000 years, involved themselves with spirituality and the search for real happiness. For Tibetan lama's sms-messages and internet chat-rooms are as weird as telepathy and clairvoyance are to us and the other way around.

The book Aware is recommended for people, who are inquisitive about the impressions, a traveller experiences when visiting these countries. Apart from the necessary geographical and cultural information you will find this true travel documentary full of emotions and 'accidental' occurrences. The hidden truth about Tibet and the misery the Tibetans endure till this very day are also revealed. As the persons making this journey had previously not had any connections with Asia, Tibet or Buddhism, it makes it easier to identify with them and therefore it is impressive to see how the life of these two travellers has changed through this journey. Things that seemed mysterious during their journey seemed afterwards to fall into place like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and this experience led to the creation of Project Aware!

Allow yourself to follow the footsteps of Atreya and Sensi and while seated in a comfortable chair, experience all their ups and downs. We wish you a pleasant journey!

In order to reach the largest number of people we have written the book in the English language.
All profits of the sale of the Aware! Book will go to Project Aware!
